Grown in the mineral-rich red volcanic soils of Kirinyaga County, this Kenyan AA-grade lot is the product of high-altitude cultivation, meticulous handpicking, and Kenya’s famed washed process. The coffee is produced by smallholder farmers who bring their ripe cherries to nearby cooperative washing stations, where they are depulped, fermented for 24–36 hours, and washed with clean river water.

After fermentation, the beans are soaked (a traditional Kenyan post-fermentation technique that enhances clarity) and slowly dried on raised beds under the sun, with regular turning to ensure even moisture loss.

The result is a classic Kenyan profile—but with a twist. While the vibrant citrus acidity and floral complexity are present, this cup also delivers a deeper, more textured experience. Notes of dark chocolate and black pepper blend seamlessly with the sweetness of honey and vanilla, and a delicate hint of orange blossom rounds out the aromatic cup. The body is silky and full, making it a versatile choice for both filter and espresso.

This lot represents the Masai spirit—resilient, bold, and elegant—while showcasing the best of Kenya's coffee heritage.
