In the highlands of northern Peru, the Tocto family has been cultivating coffee for over 60 years in the community of El Porvenir. Across their five farms—Los Mangos, Gema de la Montaña, El Coco, El Pozo, and El Balsas—generations have refined their craft, combining tradition with modern processing techniques to express the full potential of their land.
Grown at around 1600 meters above sea level, this Bourbon lot is carefully processed using a refined washed method inspired by the Frutas Maduras style. The result is a vibrant and expressive cup, shaped by precise fermentation, thorough washing, and controlled drying.
In the cup, expect a juicy and structured profile with a thick, silky mouthfeel. Notes of baked red apple, strawberry, and plum are complemented by layers of coconut, honey sweetness, and delicate florals. A long caramel finish is lifted by a bright, orange-like acidity, creating a balanced and elegant experience.
Produced in collaboration with the Aromas del Valle cooperative in Cajamarca, this coffee reflects a commitment to quality, traceability, and long-term relationships with producers.
A refined and expressive Peruvian coffee that highlights both origin and craftsmanship.
